Information on battery Disposal
   
In connection with the distribution of batteries or the supply of equipment containing batteries, we are obliged to inform you of the following:
You are legally obligated to return used batteries as end-users. You can return spent batteries, which we carry or have led as rechargeable batteries in our assortment, at our shipping warehouse (shipping address). The symbols shown on the batteries have the following meanings:
The symbol of the crossed dustbin means that the battery must not be disposed of in the household waste.
PB = Battery contains more than 0.004 mass percent lead
cd = Battery contains more than 0.002 mass percent cadmium
HG = Battery contains more than 0.0005 mass per cent of mercury.

Special features when selling starter batteries

In connection with the distribution of vehicle batteries, we are obligated, as far as they are final consumer according to § 10 BattG, to charge per vehicle battery A deposit of 7.50, 00 euro including VAT, if at the time of the purchase of a new Vehicle battery does not return any vehicle Altbatterie. The pledge is not included in the purchase price and will be shown in the item next to the retail prices.
 
If you return a vehicle Altbatterie that we have or have led as a new battery in the assortment according to § 9 BattG, we are obligated within the scope of the legal regulations to take them back free of charge and refund the deposit amount.
As far as we have issued a pledge according to § 10 para 1 sentence 3 BattG, the refund of the pledge on the return of the vehicle Altbatterie depends on the return of the pawn mark.
 
Return location is the address listed in the imprint.
 
A return of the Altbatterie by post is not permissible due to the Dangerous Goods Ordinance.
 
Alternatively, vehicle batteries can also be delivered free of charge at recyclable and recycling farms. The pledge we collect is made by the public-law
Recycling yards. However, you have the possibility to have the return of the vehicle Altbatterie on the deposit Mark acknowledged. On presentation of the receipted pledge you will receive the battery deposit back from us.
